More and more Americans are traveling internationally, with many looking for new ways to experience their overseas destination, according to a recent survey.
The AAA Travel survey found that 80% of U.S. citizens have taken vacations outside the country, with two in five, representing approximately 77 million residents, having rented or used a personal vehicle while traveling internationally.
One-quarter of those surveyed said they plan to take at least one international vacation within the next 18 months, with many planning to drive at some point during the trip.
