7 Spanish Drinks You Can Make at Home - CN Traveler

This summer I’m giving my warm weather drinking routine a shakeup: I’m going to drink like I’m in Spain. That’s right, you’ll find me sipping something refreshing out on my terraza. Or the closest thing I have to one—which is a fire escape. No matter; but what to have? Spain is most famous for its wine, as it should be. It’s delicious. And while the country doesn't have quite the same cocktail culture of other destinations, often going the route of cubatas, which are a bit more basic—often wine and a mixer—instead, it does have its own cocktail hour, el aperitivo, where it works in expertly made gin and tonics, low AVB mixes like a cubata, and more. Whether you're ready to mix red with sprite or coke, orange juice with cava, or make a batch of good old sangria, they have more than a few concoctions up their sleeves that are worth borrowing for your next Zoom happy hour or Memorial Day cookout with your roommates. ¡Salud!
