United passengers who refuse to mask up will now lose travel privileges - Chron
United Airlines announced this week that it will strengthen mandatory mask policies to further slow the spread of COVID-19 and help continue to keep passengers and crew safe.
The airline said starting June 18, any passenger who refuses to wear a mask when onboard a United flight will be placed on an internal travel restriction list. Passengers placed on this list will lose their United travel privileges pending a comprehensive incident review.
Currently, and for at least the next 60 days, everyone is required to wear a face covering for the duration of their flight; including employees who are traveling using their flight benefits, pilots, customer service agents and ramp workers when on board an aircraft.
