How To Get Paid To Travel The World Without Being An Influencer - Forbes

Getting paid to travel is the dream and no, you don't have to sell yourself out on social media to do it. You don't even have to be the biggest expert around. An easy-going attitude and impeccable organizational skills is all you really need for a long-lasting career that isn't dependent on how many followers you keep online.

26-year-old Lexie Carter is living her best life as EF Ultimate Break's Product Development Manager. From a grand St. Patrick's Day celebration throughout Ireland to a dusk-till-dawn beach adventure in Thailand, her team is in charge of developing all of the company's unique international tours.

Instead of sitting at a desk planning out itineraries, the company believes testing out every aspect of a trip is the best way to guarantee the most unforgettable experience for EF's travelers. Over the summer, Carter led the launch of new excursions throughout Africa. A safari starting May 2019 in Tanzania can be booked now and last month, Carter visited Uganda's vast tourist destinations including Queen Elizabeth National Park — where she sampled and created a daring route scheduled to be released later this year. To get an inside look of how she landed this dream gig and what a day in her life is really like, check out her interview with Forbes that took place during her recent trip to Switzerland below.
